Financial Partners Credit Union was established in 1975 with ten members and $100,000 as Henredon Employees Credit Union. Later Masco purchased Henredon Furniture and the credit union increased its membership base and changed its name to Masco Employees Credit Union. In 1996 the credit union changed its name to Financial Partners Credit Union. The credit union has grown over the years and now has 6,000 members and over $16 million in assets.

Membership is available to:
All employees' and retired employees of Henredon Furniture, Lexington Furniture, Maitland Smith, Merillat Industries, Packaging Corporation of America (PCA), Morganton Plant; Brasscraft Industries, and LFI Corporation.

"Members of their immediate family" includes the following: spouse, children, parents, brothers, sisters, grandparents, grandchildren, stepparents, stepchildren, stepsiblings, and adoptive relationships.

“Members of the Household”; as defined as persons living in the same residence maintaining a single economic unit.

To join the credit union, eligible members must:

Complete a membership card .
Open a savings account with a minimum deposit of $5.00. This may be done through a payroll deduction or direct deposit .
