Wilson Community Credit Union is the result of a merger between Firestone Credit Union and City of Wilson Employees’ Credit Union in 2006. Firestone Credit Union was originally chartered in 1975, to serve the local employees of Firestone Tire and Rubber Company. In April 2004, Firestone Credit Union merged with Self-Help Credit Union, making it a division of Self-Help Credit Union. Wilson Community Credit Union is located in Wilson, North Carolina, and primarily serves Wilson County and the surrounding area.
Wilson Community Credit Union is member owned. Your Wilson Community Credit Union membership deposit makes you an owner/member of the credit union with the right to vote at the annual meeting of Self-Help Credit Union. Credit union membership gives you ownership.
Wilson Community Credit Union is open from 8:30am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. On Tuesdays the branch opens at 9:15am. The branch is closed on weekends and most holidays.
